I’m excited to announce that I’ll be offering a ‘Back to School’ 20% discount on all of the pieces on my website for the next month!
So much of my music has been used for educational purposes, from middle school bands to college chamber ensembles and everything in between, so I’m happy to provide a discount for musicians to use my pieces for those means. The sale will occur from August 15th to September 15th and will be applied to all of my self-published works.
Announcing a consortium for a bass trombone and wind ensemble version of my piece Violent Shadows!
Since finishing the original piece back in 2017, I’ve been eager to expand the piece into the wind band setting and take advantage of the different color possibilities in the accompaniment. Though the focus of the piece is primarily on the bass trombone, there are several technical passages, contrasting styles, and meter changes that will keep the wind ensemble players excited and engaged throughout the piece.
I’m thrilled to partner with Evan Clifton, fellow Western Michigan University alumnus, on this project! Since Evan graduated in 2015, he has been performing across the country as a soloist and with various orchestras. Evan is currently a contracted member of the West Michigan and Battle Creek Symphonies and has also performed with The Cleveland Orchestra, and Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing Symphonies. I’m honored that Evan reached out to me and wanted to help organize this consortium.

New perusal score video!
An older piece, You Do You was written and performed in my last couple years of undergrad at WMU. This particular recording is of Tyler Cornwall, MiQuan Cosey, Jasmine Joubran, Keegan Nordby, and Shannon Rouston, was recorded by Zach Hummel, and features improvisatory solos on eTrombone and eTrumpet (in which we hook up practice mutes to a guitar amp). Enjoy!
I feel so honored to have had my thesis piece Olympian Suite featured at this year’s Society of Composers, Inc. Region VI Conference! Thank you to the Texas A&M-Commerce Faculty Brass Quintet for the fantastic performance and Dr. David Horace Davies for organizing this event.
I also got to (finally) meet the incredible Sarah Roberts and Elena Bogaczova Daughtery, who I found out gave a repeat of my Concertino for Bari Sax on Thursday at UT-Tyler!
